Psychotherapy exploring ways to overcome difficulties through a nonjudgmental, personalized, meaning-making approach. This open-ended form is best for people who want to explore their struggles more deeply through a collaborative investigation of their identity and worldview. My intention in this work is to help clients refocus their lives toward greater health and well-being, aiming beyond simple symptom management to help clients illuminate what a meaningful life is to them and explore how they may more fully obtain it.
Solution Focused Consulting
Six sessions of intensive investigation into a specific struggle seeking potential solutions. More structured and focused on practical recommendations than Individual Therapy, this service is most suitable for those seeking ways to manage a short-term difficulty.
There is an option to transition into Individual or Group Therapy at the conclusion of this service for those who are interested.
Collaborative exploration of struggles between two or more intimate partners. Emphasis is placed on clarifying each person's stances about what is required to establish and maintain a loving, fulfilling relationship. Attention is placed on clarifying feelings and needs in order to enable each person to more effectively make requests of one another that lead to greater fulfillment and deeper connections.
This service includes individual meetings that allow further exploration of each member's perspectives on shared difficulties.
Weekly confidential meetings of people who share certain struggles and/or interests, with the expertise and support from an experienced group therapist. I use my skills in processing the relating between group members to collaborate on new ways of seeing oneself, others, and the world. My approach is characterized by a willingness to tap into the knowledge and wisdom of group members in a way that helps them help one another.
I am currently gathering group members for two planned groups: Processing Perfectionism and Understanding Self and Others.
Phenomenological-existential consultation for health care professionals, artists, and others seeking to expand possibilities within their work. Taking on the role of a curious and contemplative ally, I aim to co-create novel interpretations of my clients' situations informed by centuries of philosophical thought about human potential and the human condition. Helpful for those who are feeling stuck, perplexed, and/or demoralized in relation to their work/projects. Sessions are scheduled one at a time and have no minimum or maximum requirement.
Notice to clients and prospective clients: Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for healthcare services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services. You can ask providers for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
